Vile Form is a band from Philadelphia, PA, that plays horror-driven, experimental death metal. The group features the continuing collaboration of Die Choking members Jeffrey Daniels (guitar) and Paul Herzog (bass/vocals) alongside fusion players Jason Herrmann (guitar) and Joshua Orlando (drums). With decades of combined experience in acts like Burden, Die Choking, and Tetsuo, they are dedicated to the classic sounds of foundational American and European death metal, thash, doom, and grindcore.

With two EPs under their belt (2024’s Unending and 2025’s Death), Vile Form has just completed their debut full-length, Rotten Chambers, with prolific engineer and musician Colin Marston (Dysrhythmia, Gorguts, Krallice) at Menegroth Studios in Mountainhome, PA. Rotten Chambers will be released in early 2027 and performed in its entirety at Subterranean Dissonance Fest in Philadelphia on February 6, 2027.
